Coincidences?

So. The rain is over. I've gone back to being unacknowledged, forgotten, nobody is saying hi to me anymore. And to be honest, I'm glad. My life has gone back to normal, in terms of the weather and behavior of others at least. Everything else though...

I was looking through the book more today, and I discovered a page that I hadn't read before, near the end of one of the sections. It seems out of place, as if it was added by someone different than the person who wrote most of the section. And there is no way this is a coincidence. It reads as follows.

"The crimes of Heinlein Iscariot against Inkbound are too great. Not only did she deceive each and every one of us, in order to accomplish her goals, she also attempted to destroy this precious tome we have worked so hard together to create and use fairly. Thankfully, we were able to recover it before to much harm could come to it. As much as it pains me to say this, she must be punished. Our work is the most important thing in my life, which is why I need to act, regardless of the incredibly special place in my heart she holds. I am not proud of what we did. But it had to be done. She tried to burn the book. So we burned her. And we immortalized her within the ink. Now she lives on in the tome. And her ashes wrote the curse upon her family. Upon reaching 21, any of her descendants who touch this tome will meet the same fate as her. We have always said the ink lives within the book. Now the ink lives."

My last name is Iscariot. And I turn 21 this Friday.

I am at a loss. I am fairly sure this has to be a coincidence. But also, from what we have seen, Inkbound doesn't deal in coincidences. I don't know what to do.
